Since 2001 she has been a fantasy /comics/Pin-up and erotic model and has been fortunate enough to be model & muse to many many great artists and many photographers . Thanks to the world wide web, distance isn’t a problem anymore and where ever you live, providing you have an internet connection, Drakaina® will be happy to model for you.

You will have the opportunity to choose from many different pictures published in the Archives/artists galleries or to directly commission Drakaina for a specific pose done exclusively for you…

2 – And How much is this going to cost me ?

As far as payment regarding the use of already existing pictures (and apart from commissioned works), Drakaina® does not want money, but she will ask that her credits and link to her official website http://drakaina.com be mentioned where the illustration is published (personal website, etc…), for a copy of the artwork (digital on a Cd and on print) + the possibility to use it for her personal promotion (official website, interviews and articles in the Press – where you and your website will be fully credited- etc..) and  the right to use it on items such as posters, postcards , autographed pictures for fans etc). Needless to say you will remain the owner of the copyright and will get 10% on the net earnings of every article – other than the art books – featuring your artworks (Let’s say an item sales for $35.00.If my earnings are $10.00 then you make 10% of the $10.00). By submitting your artwork (s)to Drakaina you agree to those conditions.

You’re an Photographer

When in this business, you can either do it for money, or do  it for fun and passion.

After many years in the industry I decided to go for the latest most of the time (other than for pre-arranged publication shoots, conventions, special events ect)… Let me give you my point of view on the matter:  Since I am willing to work for free, I am looking for individuals who are willing to do the same.

Photographers – I understand that you spend money in lighting equipment and location rentals. Makeup and Hair artists – I realize your kit needs to be maintained. However, my costumes/outfits cost upwards of $400 each, and I bring them to the table, as well as a full thought through photo shoot (with story boards if needed).

It’s all about putting our skills together to achieve great results.

In addition to the above, I also require a minimum of fifteenth high def photos from any given shoot. As a graphic designer myself,  I don’t require that the photos be worked on, raw is perfectly fine (as I like to do the editing myself, unless otherwise specified prior to the shoot ). Photos selection is to be done between both the photographer and myself (from a contact sheet containing all the pictures from the shoot).

If one of your picture is chosen to appear in a magazine publication (or any type of publication) full credits will be given. If I sell posters/prints from one of your shots, you will get a % of my net profit. In a similar fashion, you are totally free to sell the pictures we agreed upon as you wish.

You keep the full ownership rights to your images, however I require that you grant me the right to use the pictures for medias promotion, as picture references for the artists working with me, and in eventual publications (like my books, calendars, posters prints, canvas etc) Just as for the artists, you will receive 10% on the net earnings of every article -other than the books – featuring your picture(s) (Let’s say an item sales for $35.00. If my earnings are $10.00 then you make 10% of the $10.00). By booking a photo shoot with Drakaina you agree to those conditions.

Well, if I haven’t totally scared you yet, please feel free to contact me. I don’t work with everyone, only people that have a interesting concept, or whom I really really have a work crush on. Please don’t get offended if I don’t reply positively to your demand, I am super busy lately and I have to be very selective in the projects I do take on. In return I promise you will not be disappointed, I am very easy to work with and from what I’ve heard rather fun to be around 😉
